Relax at the Yellow Breeches
At Tucker&Co, we love a good adventure, but we recognize that rest is equally as important. While nature can get you climbing and moving, it is also a great place to find a relaxing calm. If you find yourself in need of a new hidden gem location, look no further than the Yellow Breeches!
The Yellow Breeches is exclusive to Cumberland County and is a creek stretching close to 22 miles! The breeches flow right through Messiah University which is a hub of activity during warm semester days for students. In the coming weeks, you'll start to see more and more people enjoying the coolness of the water. Families and friends alike fish, tube, kayak, and float down the Yellow Breeches. It is also a great place to have a picnic, set up a hammock, read a book, chat with friends, or independently journal.
If you get there early enough, the peace and quiet is unmatched as you sit on a bench, watch the water flow, and take deep breaths of fresh air. If early mornings aren't your jam, the breeches also provide the perfect post-dinner walk spot. If you're out and about right at sunset, be sure to watch the colors as they reflect on the ripples in the water - so beautiful!
It's even a great spot to enjoy a Tucker&Co drink and baked good ;)
