An adventure to Virginia: Must see places
Earlier this spring, we took a trip to Virginia. We visited Alexandria and made stops in Leesburg and Vienna. We even made a stop in Washington DC! After a fun few days of exploring, I created a list of some of the must see places for your next trip to Virginia.
VISIT
Historic Alexandria, Virginia
If you are interested in seeing charming architecture and cobblestone streets, this is the place to be! Right along the Potomac river, this area is just as beautiful as it is fun!
Wolf Trap, Vienna
We came here to see The Band Joseph perform but would highly recommend seeing a concert in the National Park for the Performing Arts. The venue has great sound quality and is super cool!
SHOP
The Old Lucketts Store, Leesburg
Stop here for charming pieces, antiques, and vintage finds!
Foundry, Leesburg
You will find thoughtfully curated home decor and lifestyle items in this beautiful shop!
EAT
Chadwicks, Alexandria
This is a great brunch spot with incredible design elements. I recommend the steak and eggs and breakfast tacos.
Volas, Alexandria
A waterfront restaurant with great crab dip and spicy peel n eat shrimp! They have great service and great food!
South Block, Alexandria
A fun smoothie bowl and juice bar with paleo energy "donut holes."
Toastique, Alexandria and Washington DC
Stop here for some fresh pressed juice!
STAY
Prince Street Inn, Alexandria
I highly recommend this super comfy and cute Air B&B! It is in a great location; close to the riverfront and plenty of restaurants and shops. It is also very clean and quite cozy!
