An Adventure to Erie, PA
It has been a while since we have talked about our adventures on here! We have had a crazy few months with events, adventures, and opening our cafe, so get ready for more adventure blogs coming your way!
A few weeks ago, Isaac and I took a quick trip to Erie, PA for a conference at the Jefferson Educational Society's World Summit. We were on a panel organized by the Our Towns Foundation to talk about the Heart & Soul Project. We were so honored to be chosen to speak about how Heart & Soul has been working in Dillsburg to make it a better place!
We stayed at the Erie Bayfront Sheraton, which was very nice and right on the lake with views of Dobbin's Landing and a marina on the other side of the hotel.
We ate dinner one night at the college hosting the conference, but we visited the Flagship City Food Hall before heading over. The food hall show cases different vendors, cultures, and foods! In the morning of our departure, we visited the coffee shop Ember & Forge, a super cool cafe focused on building the community!
